Dear past, present and future friends, colleagues and associates,

Firstly, I’d like to wish a belated Happy Holiday’s to all of you. Secondly, I’d like to wish everyone a prosperous, peaceful and productive 2015.

I am sorry I have been remiss in not maintaining my blog …. time and circumstance conspired to prevent me from keeping it happening. I also was (deliberately) reticent with FaceBook. I intend to be more productive, provocative and persistent in 2015 in keeping in touch with you. I’ve already started posting on FB again. This is my first blog for the year! The posts will not be so regular (i.e. once a week). At times more frequent and at others less frequent – it will depend on when I have something I want or need to say.

2014 was a good year for me. It was the Chinese Year of the Horse. I am a horse. I saw many new places, met many new people and did many new things. All of the people I met and kept in touch with are special to me. I am going to reach out to more of you this year – but you don’t have to wait – hey I am a mere phone call, email, sms, tweet, Viber, FaceBook posting, etc. away. You can call me too. I’d love to hear from you.

2015 is going to be better. It is going to be different. Let’s put the recent unhappy events of 2014 behind us and celebrate the good things in 2015 ahead of us. There is so much to celebrate. Ironically, I have only made one New Year’s resolution. It is the first New Year’s resolution I have made for, ‘I don’t know how long’. … I am going to get fitter and healthier. I have already started on my (undocumented path). There will be two main elements:

  • Firstly, Exercise is big! I’ve already played more golf this year then I did last year, I’ve been to the beach more times this summer then I did last summer, I resumed karate at the end of last year and last but not least I’ve already bought my ski season pass for 2015. I am going to be there again this year.
  • Secondly, diet is going to be more important then in the past! Sugar is going to take a hit, alcohol consumptions is going to be more controlled, junk food is going to take a back seat, etc.. In December I did the full battery of health checks; dental, optical and medial. I passed all of them – a bit to my surprise.

I think good health is essential … from there all else can and will follow.

My request of you is – if I reach out to keep in touch – welcome me, embrace me. Better still – reach out to me – and I will welcome you and embrace you! I look forward to seeing you all this year and doing a better job in keeping in touch.

Tell me what you are up to.

Warm regards,

Andrew Treharne
